F1 Manager 23 is almost here and fans are getting more and more excited for the day it finally arrives. It is expected to arrive on a multitude of platforms, which may mean that gamers will want to try racing against their friends.
With the game coming to Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S, it’s worth considering whether or not F1 Manager 23 will allow those gamers to play together or not.

Will F1 Manager 23 have crossplay?
No, F1 Manager 23 will not have crossplay because it is a single-player game. Xbox One gamers cannot boot up a race against their PlayStation 4 friends because that’s not possible in the game. Nor is an Xbox Series X user playing with a PC gamer as it’s not cross-gen, either.
F1 Manager 23 allows racers to take control of a team in Formula 1, 2, or 3. This very concept isn’t exactly suited to multiplayer. Even though a connected franchise of sorts is theoretically possible, Frontier has opted to keep their hit game single-player for now. Thus, there is no cross-platform play for the 2023 version.
Will F1 Manager 23 have cross-progression?
It is expected that F1 Manager 23 will have cross-progression. However, there has been no official word from Frontier Developments. Given that it does not have crossplay between consoles, there is no telling what Frontier has planned. Players in the past have been able to Cloud save their progress and begin again elsewhere. This should remain true in the 2023 version of the game. Player career, management sim, and more could cross over.
