There is nothing better than getting a good bargain, and despite what Harry Redknapp says there is nothing better than being a bit of a wheeler dealer. 

There are cases where players have low release clauses, but it’s hard to know who they will be until the game releases. 

With that in mind, we take a look at who will be the best cheap signings you can make on FIFA 23. A player will be cheaper if they are currently on a smaller contract or their contract is soon to expire. 

If you are patient, and you’re willing to wait, you can even get some of these players completely free once their contract expires. 

You also have cases where players have low release clauses, but it’s hard to know who they will be until the game releases. 

Moussa Dembélé – Striker – 79 OVR – 82 POT

Dembélé is still only 24 and is probably the cheapest, genuinely very good striker in FIFA 23. He shouldn’t cost you much more than £20 million, because he has such a short time left on his deal at Lyon. 

Dembélé has it all, he is quick, strong and still has a good amount of potential. He can come into most clubs and start straight away, whilst also being the catalyst for the team becoming bigger and better. If he does well too, you’re guaranteed a player you can sell for a healthy amount of profit. 

Giacomo Raspadori – Striker – 76 OVR – 85 POT

Raspadori is part of the new look Italian National team that has opted for youth, over experience. He is a small striker, but he has bags of pace and plenty of potential. He should also be available for under £20 million, but will have much more room to grow than Dembélé.

He can also play on the wing too, so his added versatility would make him a huge asset for any FIFA 23 Career Mode and once again he should be shifted for a tidy profit once he starts to perform. 

Altay Bayindir – Goalkeeper – 76 OVR – POT 84

A good goalkeeper is worth their weight in gold, and when they are young it means you don’t have to worry about that position for a very long time. It’s certainly not the most exciting signing in the world, but it can cost you a lot of money long term.

Signing Bayindir on FIFA 23’s Career Mode will set you up in the position for a good ten years at least, and he should only cost around £15 million. He’s an absolute bargain at that price, and is sure to fulfil, if not exceed his potential.
