Traveling to different places using various means of transporting, such as canoes, mounts, or airships, can provide a truly cinematic experience, especially in Final Fantasy. Of course, exploration is just another part of the game; however, sometimes, you want to skip through the traveling bit and get right to the fighting.

As you can expect, Chocobos will be a thing in Final Fantasy 16, including summons and Moogles. But you probably want to know if you can get to places faster. This guide details how to Fast Travel in Final Fantasy 16.

How do you Fast Travel in Final Fantasy 16?

The exploration part of any game can be the best part of the gameplay or something you’re just stuck with doing. As a result, fast traveling is a quick way to get to your destination and complete any missions. So, you might wonder if there is a means of traversal in Final Fantasy 16. You can Fast Travel in Final Fantasy 16. To do this, you can access your Map in the Main Menu to travel instantly. As you venture through Valisthea, you will also come across various waypoints called Obelisks you can attune to. These will be used as Fast Travel points.

After opening the World Map in your Main Menu and selecting an Obelisk, you must press X and hold it to Fast Travel to that location. However, Final Fantasy 16 is not an MMO and will not be open-world. Therefore, for most of your Travel through Valisthea, Clive will be using a Chocobo as a means of transportation. However, if you need to make a quick stop, all you need to do is open your Map and choose your location.

However, when you aren’t completing a main quest and have made your way to Cid’s Hideaway, you can partake in various side quests in which you can fast-travel. There are two examples of how you can do this. The first is the Hunt Board, and your quest-giver is the Moogle. Once you have chosen a quest, you can access the main World Map. You can also access the various side quests within Valisthea using the Alliant Reports. Once again, from here, you can Travel to the quest point.
