Final Fantasy 16 – How to enter training mode
When you want to train in Final Fantasy 16, head over to the Arete Stone in Cid’s Hideaway. Interact with the stone to bring up the menu. From there, select the Hall of Virtue option. This will bring you into the training arena.
The training arena is where you can practice fighting different enemies and bosses that you have already fought in the game. You cannot challenge enemies that you haven’t seen before. Remember to explore the world of Valisthea to discover more enemies.
Everything that you do is recorded in the action log for you to review later on. There is an input display in the training area as well to record your button inputs.
If you press the touchpad, you will bring up the training mode options menu. Here, you can alter various aspects of your training.
The following options are available in the training options screen:
- Input Display – Controls whether or not you see the control scheme on-screen during training mode.
- Action Log – Determines whether or not your actions are recorded in the log.
- Invincibility – Makes you invincible during training mode.
- Regen – Grants you health regen.
- Burst Timing – Displays magic burst timing.
- Recast Timers – Displays magic recast timers.
- Enemy Aggro – Turns enemy aggro on and off.
- Enemy Invincibility – Makes the enemies invincible.
- Select Target – Choose which enemy you’d like to face.
Later on, you will also get access to stage replay and arcade mode from the Arete Stone menu.
