Epic Games has brought Milestones back to Fortnite with Chapter 4 - Season 4, and here is a full list of them.

Fortnite Milestones are very important for leveling up the Battle Pass. They are smaller long-term tasks that have multiple stages and grant XP. While XP gains from Milestones are not significant, they do pay off in the long run.
Interestingly, Epic Games changed the system in the previous season. In the past, players had around 20 different tasks to complete, and each task had multiple stages. Now, these tasks are split into three categories: Combat, Exploration, and Challenge.
Each category grants 30,000 bonus XP, while each Milestone grants 2,000 XP.
These Milestones can be completed in Fortnite Season 4
The new season of Fortnite Battle Royale hasn’t brought many changes to the Milestone system. It still works the same way it did last season, and most tasks have remained unchanged.
Epic Games has made no changes to Challenge and Combat Milestones.

Combat Milestones
- Eliminate Opponents
- Headshot Opponents
- Outlast Opponents
- Damage Opponents
The previous season of the popular video game had five different tasks in the Exploration category. The category still have the same number of tasks, but they are different. You will now gain additional XP for collecting ammo and traveling distance, while the tasks to open chests at named locations and landmarks were combined in a single challenge that requires you to open chests at any location.

It’s important to note that Fortnite Milestones are completely random. Whenever you complete one task, you will get a new random task. For example, once you activate or re-roll 10 Reality Augments, you will be tasked with either gaining shields, collecting items, or destroying objects.
Receiving 2,000 XP for a single Milestone certainly isn’t a lot. However, a bonus of 30,000 XP is good enough for almost half of a Battle Pass level.
