If you want to play Fortnite on your iPhone, the good news is that you can. Fortnite is available on both iPhone and iPad. Unfortunately, you can’t just simply download the game from the app store and play it. Instead, you need to rely on Xbox cloud gaming.
Instead of using the Apple app store, you will need to open Safari and navigate to the cloud gaming website. Once there, you will need to add the cloud gaming app to your home screen. To do this, tap the share button and select the add to home screen option.
This shortcut will allow you to bring up the cloud gaming service on your phone or tablet if you are using a different iOS device.
Open the cloud gaming app and sign in to your Microsoft account. If you don’t have one, you will need to create one. Once done, locate Fortnite using the search bar. You will see the option play on the screen. Select the play option to launch the game.
Fortnite is a free-to-play game with in-game currencies that you can purchase. You will not be required to purchase the game to play it but you will need an internet connection. Fortnite supports touch controls on devices such as phones so there is no need to get a controller unless you want the added support.
