Will Forza Motorsport 8 be on the Nintendo Switch?
No, Forza Motorsport 8 will not be ported to the Nintendo Switch. The game is published by Xbox Game Studios, which makes it an exclusive game. That means nothing except Xbox and PC can get it when the launch happens in October. It’s a Microsoft game, so Microsoft platforms have access to it.
Furthermore, it is only available on one Xbox console: the Xbox Series X|S. That sort of makes it a next-gen exclusive. The Nintendo Switch is a great console capable of doing things that most other consoles cannot, but it’s not exactly bought for its power. It’s a console designed for exclusive games, and Forza has never been one, neither the Motorsport of Forza Horizon series.
The hit racing simulation will not be available for Nintendo players on its release date, nor will it have any editions for the game at any point in the future. It’s a PC and Xbox game, which means it could be on Xbox Game Pass, but that’s not available to Switch users.
One of the best racing games out there is not coming to any Nintendo consoles now or in the future, nor any PlayStation consoles, so Nintendo fans of Forza will either have to buy an Xbox or play Mario Kart. They do not have the Forza Motorsport series.
