Don’t be too slow! Ensure you get your hands on the new Kaeya Sailwind Shadow free skin in Genshin Impact. You can also check out a Klee build to ensure you’re ready for action!

Before you do all of that, follow this guide to learn the Genshin Impact 4.0 release date.

What is the release date for Genshin Impact 4.0? – Our prediction

The latest version of Genshin Impact, Version 3.8, was released on July 5, 2023, and many Travelers are eager to learn when the new banners will be released. Genshin Impact Version 4.0 should release on August 16, 2023. Each Genshin Impact Version update will last for six weeks; as a result, if you count 42 days from July 5, you will get August 16.

Though Version 3.8 has just begun, and we’re sure plenty of Travelers are enjoying the new quests and events. However, a sneak peek of a new region at the end of the Genshin Impact Version 3.8 Special Program livestream is the only thing on their minds.

So, what can you expect from this new region? In the upcoming patch, Travelers will get the chance to access the Fontaine region, the home of the Hydro Archon. Of course, with each new region, players can expect new characters. So, within the region of Fontaine, it is confirmed in the Overture Teaser trailer that there are new Fontaine characters:

  • Lyney a Pyro
  • Lynette an Anemo
  • Freminet a Cryo
  • Charlotte
  • Egeria
  • Navia
  • Wriothesley
  • Sigewinne
  • Clorinde
  • Arlecchino
  • Furina
  • Neuvillette

In the new region, Travelers can participate in a new underwater exploration with the diving mechanic in the Fontaine map and, of course, a variety of new areas.
