There has been plenty to learn about Teyvat with Aether and Lumine in their quests to find one another. During their quest, they meet various characters, such as Kaeya and Klee. How old is Aether, The Traveler in Genshin Impact

Though there is much to learn about Teyvat in Genshin Impact, there’s no doubt that the Abyss Siblings, Aether, and Lumine are the most mysterious characters. Aether, the older male sibling, is about 500 years old after the Unknown God has sealed the two siblings. Though he and his younger female sibling Lumine still retain their youthful appearance of 15 or 17 years old.

Aether, along with his sibling, is a Traveler from another world and made their way to Teyvat as their world was being destroyed. After they landed in Teyvat, both siblings were present when Khaenri’ah was destroyed. This event is known as the Cataclysm. 

During this time, the Travelers attempted to leave Teyvat; however, the Unknown God, who called herself the “sustainer of Heavenly Principles,” engaged the twins in battle and trapped them within her red cubes. The siblings awoke 500 years later with their powers sealed away and their siblings missing. 

After this, they will meet Paimon and learn to use the Anemo ability. This starts Aether’s journey traveling across Teyvat, meeting The Seven, and finding his sister.
