Goldeneye 007 is now available for those lucky enough to have the Nintendo Switch and Xbox platforms. This game was a ’90s sensation and has captured the hearts of the oldies once more.

Well, what better way to enjoy this nostalgia hit than with the N64 controller? Stick Titanic on in the background? A bit of Spice Girls?

The Nintendo Switch controller for many is obviously excellent but if you really want to stick it to Alec Trevelyan (Polygon Sean Bean), an old-school gamepad is the best path to take.
