In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you will go through many weapons. Just like in Breath of the Wild, you will constantly be in combat against the monsters that have taken over Hyrule.
When it comes to weapons in Tears of the Kingdom, none of them are as important as your bow. This weapon is powerful and the arrows fired from it can easily take down enemies faster than even the mightiest of blades. How to use a bow in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
Early in the game while you are still on the Great Sky Island, you will be given your first old wooden bow. Using this weapon is rather simple. To equip your bow, press the + button to bring up your inventory.
Navigate to the bow menu and select the bow you want to use. Once you have a bow equipped, hold down the ZR button to aim. Use the right stick to move your aim. If you have arrows, Link will automatically notch an arrow. Press the B button to cancel the shot.
Remember, just like other weapons, bows are subject to durability meaning they will eventually break on you.
You can perform a jump shot by launching yourself in the air with your glider and a fire. While in the air, if you press the ZR button, everything will go in slow motion and you will have more time to aim.
How to fuse a bow in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
If you want your bow shots to have a little more kick behind them, you will want to use Link’s Fuse ability. While aiming your bow, press up on the D-pad to access the material menu. Use the right stick to move through the menu.
You can fuse items like fire fruit to your arrows to create elemental arrows. This will increase the damage your arrows do as well as give them special effects.
