The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom sequel has premiered, and you may be stuck wondering what kind of food you can cook and if you can catch fish. Thus, you may be wondering what weapons will you need and how to catch these underwater creatures. Not to worry, though; we have you covered. Follow this guide to learn how to catch fish in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

How do you catch fish in Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom?

While traversing the Hyrule Kingdom, you will meet many enemies and friends. However, to make these travels happen, you will need one crucial ingredient: food, or in this case, fish. To catch fish, you only need to jump in the water and interact with them. There won’t be any fishing poles you can utilize to catch fish. You also won’t need any bait or lure, as they are easy to catch by hand

Where can you find fish in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom?

While there won’t be any Fishing Holes and Fishing Ponds like in Twilight Princess and Ocarina of Time games, you can find fish everywhere throughout Hyrule.

You can head over to catch fish in a few places in the TotK game. Due to the Tears of the King Zelda game having a similar map as BotW, you may already know a few locations. The first location is near Carok Bridge Well. To catch the Glowing Cave Fish, you must go to the North Hyrule Plain Cave

Aside from using fish as delicious meals, you will also need them to fix your Zora Armor in one of your quests. For this quest, you will need Ancient Arowana fish; they can be found in two places. The first is a little sky island lake near the Nachoyah Shrine. To get there, you must use the Zonai Device Wing to dive into the lake. The second is in Lanayru, in the Ihen-a Shrine.
