Sometimes you just want to get a better perspective on your zombie killing. The world is such a large place that it helps to widen your view. Increasing your FOV (field-of-view) helps you see more all at once and can even help you not get blindsided by some zombies coming at you from an odd angle.
When you want to get a better look at the world, you will want to increase your FOV. Luckily, you can do so with just a couple of menu clicks. This guide will show you how to change field-of-view in Dead Island 2.
How to change your FOV in Dead Island 2
If you want to change your field of view, you can do so from the main menu or the pause menu. Starting off, in the main menu, choose the options selection. That will bring you into the game options. from there, choose the display option.
Once you are in the display menu, you will see the field-of-view option below the maximum framerate option and above the motion blur option. The field of view starts off at 80 but we found that it looks much better when set to 90 or 100. Of course, it all comes down to personal preference.

To change your field of view in the game, go to the pause menu and follow the same steps above by selecting options and then selecting display. This will also get you to the display menu where you can change your field of view. Now you can get a better look at the dropkicks as you fly through the air.
