The merchant in the Resident Evil 4 Remake has a ton of requests for you to complete with each of them requiring you to go out of your way to perform specific tasks. Oftentimes, these tasks are simple and require minimal effort. Other times, you need to search an area for multiple items. To complete the More Pest Control request, you need to track down three rats that are hidden in different rooms of the castle. Here is how you complete the More Pest Control request in Resident Evil 4 Remake.
All More Pest Control rat locations in Resident Evil 4 Remake
Requests are a very common sight in the Resident Evil 4 Remake. When you reach chapter 9, you can find the request notice for More Pest Control on the wall near the chimera statue in the grand hall of the castle. Interact with the note to obtain the request. To complete it, you need to track down the rats that are hidden in the different rooms of the castle. These rats are located in the library, dining hall, and armory.
Rat location 1/3
The first rat can be found very quickly after getting the request. Go through the door next to where the request notice was. This will lead you to the dining hall. The first rat is scurrying around the entrance to the dining hall.

Rat location 2/3
The second rat on the list is found in the armory. Go upstairs in the grand hall and go through the door on the same side of the room as the door leading to the dining hall. Follow the path to where you need to drop down and fight the armored enemies. Once all the enemies are dealt with, open the door using the unicorn tails. The second rat is in the hallway connected to the room where you fought the knights.
Rat location 3/3
The final rat for the request is found in the library but you won’t be able to get it right away. You will first be able to spot this rat while playing as Ashley. After reconnecting with Leon, head back to the Library. Specifically, head back to the room with all the taxidermy heads. The final rat can be found here. Make sure to also keep an eye out for Blue Medallions since they are scattered about various parts of the village.
