As per the latest PS5 7.0 Update, you can now join Discord voice chats on your PS5 console and easily chat with friends on most other gaming platforms. This article shall be taking you through the ways in which you can link your PSN to your Discord account.

What we’ll be going into are the two specific ways you can go about this. One is from your mobile device, and one can be done via your web browser.

These steps will cover what you need to do to link your PSN account to your Discord, no matter what device you are setting up from. Here’s how you do it:

Open Discord

Open up the Discord app. This can be on Desktop, Web Browser, or Mobile.

If you aren’t currently signed in, log in with your details.

Access your Connections settings

  1. For Desktop or Web Browser go on ‘User Settings‘ icon on the bottom left, if you’re on Mobile click your profile picture on the bottom right.
  2. Locate the ‘Connections‘ tab in Settings and open it.

Link your PSN account

  1. Find the PlayStation logo and click it.
  2. Follow the link and log into your PSN account to complete the process.

It’s really as simple as that. PS5 and Discord have made it not only intuitive to link these two accounts, but also very user friendly. Now you can seamlessly talk on Discord whilst gaming via PS5 consoles. Enjoy!
