If you want to build a train, you can do so with a few Zonai devices. Make sure to stop by a Device Dispenser if you don’t have all the items needed.

In some areas with rails, you will find mine carts. Start by using your Ultrahand ability to fuse them together. From there, take out a fan and stick it to one end of the mine carts. Now, place a few batteries on top of the fan so it has a smoke stack. You now have yourself a train.

If you want, you can attach rockets to the train to make it go even faster. It won’t get you somewhere as fast as a set of wings will, but it certainly does the job. Rauru would be proud of your ingenuity.

Take a wooden platform and stick a hook to the top of it with the Ultrahand. This contraption will allow you to slide down rails with ease. This method comes into play in the Ukouh Shrine. This is all part of the main quest to reach the Temple of Time and get off the Great Sky Island.

Later in the game, you will get to Lookout Landing. From there, you will be free to explore and gather the shrine blessings and collect rewards.
