Street Fighter 6 is filled with different maneuvers for you to perform like high-flying kicks, punches, combos, and even special moves. Hit the right inputs and you can perform stronger attacks like lightning kicks and eagle punches. Capcom added many moves for you to learn, but one that can throw your opponent off is the wall jump.

The wall jump allows you to avoid an opponent’s attack by jumping off the wall behind you. This maneuver can easily allow you to dodge attacks like a light kick or heavy punch. Unfortunately, only a few characters can actually use this move. This guide will show you how to wall jump in Street Fighter 6.

How to perform a wall jump in Street Fighter 6

If you want to perform a wall jump, you simply need to start by walking up to a wall during a fight. Afterward, jump in the air by shifting the joystick up. Then shift the joystick right and left – toward the wall and then away. Doing this will allow you to jump off the wall and get behind your opponent by doing a forward jump and backward jump. See, the button inputs are very simple.

The unfortunate part about this is that only Chun-li can use the wall jump. Other characters like Luke, Ryu, Jamie, Kimberly, and the rest of the roster can’t because it is considered a unique attack. There is, however, a way you can use this move on your own character and it starts by going into World Tour Mode.

How to learn to wall jump in Street Fighter 6

If you want to learn to wall jump with your avatar, you need to go to World Tour Mode. Once there, progress through the game mode to chapter 2-1. This is when you will unlock Chun-li and be able to learn her fighting style.

Unlike in other fighting games, you can learn from the greats in Street Fighter 6. Shortly after speaking with Chun-li, she will enroll you in her class where you will learn all of her different moves like the bird kick, tensho kick, aerial kikosho, and even the wall jump. You will have access to these moves on your character from now on.

Chun-li’s fighting style consists of a lot of kicks. As such, you will learn every medium kick and heavy kick in her arsenal. You can even learn her drive gauge moves.
