While Honkai Star seems fun, it can be made even more exciting, especially if you have that one friend who is willing to play the game with you. That begs the question: is Honkai: Star Rail co-op?

Does Honkai: Star Rail have co-op?
Honkai: Star Rail doesn’t seem to have co-op just yet. While you can add friends in the game, you’re unable to play with them in the same session. That said, the multiplayer experience of the game is only limited to your borrowing your friend’s free character and using them as your support character in your fights.
Your friends won’t be able to control your support character, and neither can you if they choose to use your character as a support character. This feels like a huge letdown for many players since Genshin Impact allowed you to play with your friends in the same lobby, Honkai: Star Rail doesn’t seem to have that strong of a social aspect to it.
A co-op feature might be added since the game is relatively new, and the developers might integrate new stuff based on reviews. So don’t rule out the possibility of co-op just yet!
Will Honkai Star Rail ever become co-op?
Honkai Impact 3rd did have a co-op feature where you could team up with other players to solve puzzles as well as defeat bosses together. This adds to the glimmer of hope many players have for Honkai: Star Rail, who hope to see co-op in the game.
