With Redfall finally being released on multiple platforms, many gamers have but one question in mind: ‘Is Redfall crossplay?’.
Enjoying the bloodied adventure through the vampire-infested town of Redfall with your friends will definitely add to the entire experience, even if they play from different platforms.
So if you are curious about Redfall’s crossplay feature, read on as we will answer all your queries.
Does Redfall have crossplay
Redfall does indeed have crossplay support. Players on Steam, the Epic Games Store, the Microsoft Store, and Xbox can take full advantage of the crossplay feature to play alongside their friends in Redfall. This has been confirmed on the official Redfall Twitter account and the game’s Q&A section, which reads.
“Crossplay confirmed between Xbox + PC Game Pass + Steam + Epic Game Store,”.
As Redfall will be available on Game Pass at launch, it only seems natural for crossplay to be supported, just like other games from Arkane Austin(the game’s developer). Nonetheless, the question remains whether the game will be made available for PlayStation users.
Redfall crossplay on PlayStation
No announcement of Redfall being made available on PlayStation has been made by the game’s developers at the time of writing. Needless to say, that crossplay will not be supported for players on PlayStation since they won’t be able to get a hold of the game on their console in the first place.
Furthermore, the developers have not confirmed if the game will become available to play on PlayStation in the future. While the developers were working on releasing the game on the PS5, after the Xbox buyout of Bethesda, the development was canceled.
Therefore, to dive into the vampire-infested world of Redfall, you’ll need to get yourself a PC, Xbox Series X|S, or an Xbox One.
