Fans of a multitude of different Ubisoft games are getting excited for XDefiant. This FPS game features a mix-mash of factions from across various Ubisoft games allowing fans to rep their favorite game in the field of battle. Of course, the question always has to be asked about any new release, will be available on Game Pass? For XDefiant, it being on Game Pass doesn’t matter as much as other games. Let’s go over if XDefiant will be available on Game Pass and why it doesn’t matter either way.

Will XDefiant Be On Game Pass?

The short answer is no, XDefiant won’t be on game pass. But this doesn’t matter because XDefiant is a free-to-play game. So you can download it and play it for free through Ubisoft as long as you are on a supported console. While Game Pass and Ubisoft have a few games together, so we could see some Game Pass exclusive bonuses down the line much like the Twitch Drops that we are all accustomed to.

That is a part of Game Pass that gets easily forgotten, but if you have the Gold subscription to game pass, you get access to extra in-game good for some games and even a Discor Nitro trial. Of course, there is no confirmation that any sort of bundle will be available to Game Pass subscribers. But you can still play the game for free with out without Game Pass.

While a free-to-play Ubisoft game might not sound too appealing to most people, it doesn’t hurt to at least give it a try and see if you enjoy it for yourself. As long as you stand firm to not spend any money, all you will lose is a bit of time trying it out.

If you want to go ahead and try out XDefiant ahead of the full release later this year, you will want to try to seek out beta access for yourself. This should get you into the currently ongoing closed beta and allow you to play during any future open betas if they happen closer to release.
