Jedi Survivor is finally out and fans can’t wait to start playing. After news about the file size of the game started to spread fans started to worry about what they are getting into. However, a question on everyone’s mind is just how long the game is. Let’s go over how long you can expect it to take to beat Jedi Survivor.

How Long Will It Take To Beat Jedi Survivor?

Doing an average playthrough of Jedi Survivor will take you anywhere from 20 to 30 hours if you just focus on finishing the story. Just looking at the boss list for Jedi Survivor, we can tell that this will be quite the long game.

However, if you want to go out of your way to find every collectible, finish every quest, and fight every boss, you are looking at upwards of 40 hours for all of that. This makes sense as the game has quite a large file size, meaning it has a lot of content for you to explore.

Of course, the real-time sink is going to be how long it takes to defeat bosses and areas. Each boss in Jedi Survivor is designed to take several attempts to get through them as you need to play quite well even on the easier difficulties. Then you have boss fights like the Vader fight, even perfect play will have you wasting upwards of 20 minutes to complete it.

While speedrunners are sure to have this game torn to pieces in just a few hours, that involves using glitches to clip out of areas and skip huge chunks of the game. Unless you feel like going to learn about all these clips, and most likely down-patching your game to the terrible release version, you will be on track for a slow experience.

Having a long playtime isn’t a terrible thing, it just means you will get your money’s worth out of Jedi Survivor. You wouldn’t want to spend upwards of $70 on something you can complete in an evening. You want something that will take weeks of effort, something that you can sit down after a hard day of work and experience. That’s what you will be getting with Jedi Survivor.
