Is Lords of the Fallen available only on next-gen platforms?
Regrettably, Lords of the Fallen is available only for next-gen platforms. If you’re a PS4 or Xbox One user, it will be disheartening for you to learn that the game is not available for your platform. Instead, your options are limited to choosing the PC version of the game or upgrading to the PS5 or Xbox Series X|S to play it. There is no other way for you to try it.
The first installment of the Lords of the Fallen series was available on both PS4 and Xbox One. Fans were eager to see the sequel on these platforms as well. However, as the successor to the first game is being released almost nine years later, its graphics and requirements have significantly advanced. In other words, it is something that the previous-generation consoles cannot handle smoothly.
At present, the developers have not disclosed any plans to release the game for the PS4 or Xbox One in the future. Furthermore, it’s highly unlikely to happen. Therefore, the wisest option would be to upgrade to a next-gen console or play it on your PC if it meets the system requirements.
