Is Madden 23 cross platform & crossplay?
Madden 23 is of course cross platform but will we see crossplay functionality as we did with other EA titles?

Madden 23 is set to release on Friday, August 19, 2022, with the early access starting just three days prior, on the 16th.
There is a lot of hype around the next installment in the mega-franchise and that is largely down to the upcoming feature ‘FieldSENSE’.
This year’s Madden NFL 23 will come with two core editions.
The first of the two available versions will be the standard or base version, available on Xbox One/PS4 (current gen) and PS5/Xbox Series X and S (next-gen).
Alongside this, a Madden NFL 23 All Madden Edition will be available as well – offering up additional goodies.
So is Madden 23 cross platform? Aboslutely.

Yes, Madden 23 is cross-platform – available on PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS5, Xbox Series, and Xbox Series X.
Madden 22 was also cross-platform, however, it is crossplay that the fans want.
Is Madden 23 crossplay?
The idea of crossplay when it comes to sport/ racing games is a fantastic, must-happen kind of idea.
Crossplay is unconfirmed and unlikely to happen but the fans want it, so we hope and pray.
It isn’t just Madden fans that want this feature, it makes sense on other titles such as NBA, FIFA, NHL, and racers too.
The only bit of hope that we currently have e is the fact that EA introduced this feature for FIFA 22 late in its life and it will probably feature in FIFA 23 too.
Opinion: Madden 23 needs to feature crossplay
As previously mentioned, it is a no-brainer.
It is a frustrating prospect that 2022 games aren’t flexible.
When we look at FPS games then fair enough, leave the crossplay between PC and console platforms out of it if you really want to but those on PlayStation and Xbox should be able to play together at will.
This makes even more sense when we talk about racing or sports games, where the vast majority of players, no matter the platform, use a controller.
There are no real advantages/ disadvantages to having crossplay on Madden 23, so EA, please introduce it.
Aside from being able to play with friends, it would strengthen the MUT market for certain platforms (PC has fewer players), and matchmaking would thrive.
