With every season of Call of Duty Modern Warfare II and Warzone, comes a whole host of new content for fans to play with. Activision gives fans plenty of in-game rewards and gameplay to play with, and Season 5 of MW2 is no different.
Season 5 includes new weapons like the Carrack .300 to unlock, new patch notes that let players know all the updates and balancing, and new operators to add to the mix. Oz is one of the new Season 5 operators that fans can’t wait to get their hands on.
So how do you get your hands on Oz in Season 5? We’re here to tell you how to unlock Oz as an operator in MW2 and Warzone.
How to unlock Oz in MW2 and Warzone
Oz can be unlocked as a playable operator in two ways in MW2 and Warzone:
- Purchase the Season 5 Standard Battle Pass
- Purchase the Premium BlackCell Battle Pass
Purchasing either of the Season 5 Battle Passes will unlock Oz as a playable operator in MW2 and Warzone. Luckily, you will not need to progress or earn a promotion through the battle pass tiers to unlock him. As soon as you purchase one of the passes, Oz will be available for multiplayer.
Who is Oz in MW2 and Warzone?
Oz is a member of the KorTac faction and the de facto leader of the Shadow Company Task Force in the absence of Graves, the group’s founder. He is tasked with leading their global presence. However, Graves is still pulling the strings of Shadow Company, as it’s revealed that Soap didn’t kill him.
Oz is one of the five operators introduced in Season 5 of MW2 and Warzone, along with Graves, BlackCell exclusive Arthur, Shadow Company mercenary Velikan, and powerful warrior Mila. Season 5 is packed with other new content besides just operators, including weapon blueprints, new weapons like the FR Avancer Assault Rifle, operator skins, vehicle skins like the Heavy Tank Skin, the new Battle Buddy feature, new vehicles including the Dirt Bike, finishing moves, other in-game cosmetics, and plenty more.
You can purchase the MW2 Season 5 Battle Pass to get access to Oz, as well as tier skips if you purchase the BlackCell Battle Pass. Oz is available right on the release date of Season 5 for all CoD players.
