There are plenty of operator skins to make each playable character your own. Operator skins can come from a variety of places, too, from earning them through the Battle Pass to purchasing special bundles in the in-game store. How do you get the Zombie Ghost Operator Skin for MW2? We’re here to show you how.
How to unlock the Zombie Ghost Operator Skin in MW2
In order to get the Zombie Ghost Operator Skin for Ghost in Call of Duty, all you need to do is pre-order Modern Warfare III. It does, however, need to be a digital edition of the game, which includes:
- The Standard/Cross-Gen Edition
- The Vault Edition
Prepurchasing MW3 before September 27 will have the Zombie Ghost skin unlocked after the date has passed, and pre-ordering the game after September 27 will instantly unlock the skin for use. Sadly, if you pre-order the game at a regular brick-and-mortar store, the skin won’t be available for you.
Will the Zombie Ghost Operator Skin be in MW3?
The undead skin also will carry forward to MW3, meaning you can still use it once you make the switch to the next game in the CoD franchise. It will be usable from the launch of the game.
Unfortunately, once MW3 releases in November, the window to get the Zombie Ghost skin will be over. It’s exclusive as a pre-order bonus, so you won’t be able to earn it in-game once the game releases. If you’re one of the fans who want the skin, you’ll have to get it during this window.

The Halloween Season of MW2, Season 6 The Haunting will be scaring players with new game modes special spooky operators, and weapons. MW3 will have early access to get in on, as well as the return of the beloved Zombies mode, updated multiplayer, and more.
