The Brimstone Sand has been leaked to be a new upcoming region in New World. The enormous desert is set to be a literal goldmine for all kinds of content. The Brimstone Sands maps was discovered during a datamine, as well as being one of the two new maps, including “Queens Port”.

This has lead top a fair few people believing that Brimstone Sands and Queens Port could be the next DLC expansion areas coming to New World.

Resources in Brimstone Sands

Already, there’s been some leaks about what kind of resources, NPCs and chapters you’ll be able to find in Brimstone Sands. Each of which haven’t been fully confirmed just yet but you can look into here.

This guide suggests you can find all the general resources, bronze, silver, gold, food, wood and magical plants. There’s also been mention of various magical creatures like Blightmoth, Lifemoth and Soulwyrms inhabiting Brimstone Sands.

A Redditor has shared some gameplay of the unfinished desert biome. Showing that the region is very much not finished.

This should all be taken with a grain of salt as nothing has been officially confirmed. That being said, all the seeds has been planted and seem to certainly show some promise. The desert will certainly be an arduous and difficult region to explore, but it will almost certainly be rewarding.
