Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is a crossover fighting game in the style of Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros, by Ludosity, Fair Play Labs and GameMill Entertainment. It is the follow up to Nickelodeon Kart Racers and Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2: Grand Prix, which are crossover party racers in the style of Nintendo’s Mario Kart. A trailer has finally revealed the Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl release date and we couldn’t be more excited about it.

So, what is the Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl release date?

Nickelodeon has been good about announcing their new game releases less than a year before they are expected to come out in stores. Fans won’t have to wait too long to get their hands on the new fighting game starring their favorite characters, as Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is all set to come out on October 5, 2021.

Is Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl crossplay?

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is, sadly, just like Nickelodeon Kart Racers and Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2: Grand Prix. By that we mean that it’s not crossplay. Which is a shame. They could really help these multiplayer focused games have steady online communities of players if the rather small console and PC based groups of players weren’t arbitrarily kept apart.

Does Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl have rollback netcode?

One of the main reasons fighting game fans are excited about Nick All-Star Brawl is that the game uses rollback netcode. Rollback netcode fighting games are generally more stable, which should mean that Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl ends up having a smoother online experience than Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, which uses Nintendo’s own proprietary netcode systems.

Rollback netcode makes the software believe that both players are offline, even though their online opponent is in another location. Games with rollback netcode predict what the opponent will do next with math. If the correct state is predicted, then the game will be smooth. If not, then the game will quickly shift to be accurate. Rollback netcode can do this using frame-by-frame fighting data, which leads to a more responsive competitive online experience.
