Nintendo Switch Sports is the newest game in the Nintendo Sports franchise. It offers a lot of different sports and modes to play around with. One of the main six games is Chambara. That sound vaguely familiar. So what exactly is Chambara in Nintendo Switch Sports?

Everything to Know about Chambara in Nintendo Switch Sports
Chambara is basically a sword fight game. You will be able to play on an arena and duel your opponent. The sword can be wielded in your hand, and you control the angle of your attacks. You can hold your sword in blocking stance or even create combos with a flurry of strikes and attacks.
Your goal is to knock out your opponents before they do that to you. The enemy can be put in a dizzy state with stars floating around their head, making them vulnerable to an attack.
Apart from attacking and guarding you can also charge your sword and strike your opponent with a powerful attack. The swords can also be dual-wield making it immersive for a fast striker. Twin swords is a very cool option that not only looks good but is somewhat practical as well.
- Normal Attack – a simple but powerful attack ability
- Charge Attack – charged by guard attacks that build up energy. Can be released in a powerful special Charge Attack
- Twin Swords – fight with two swords instead of one and use Spinning Strikes to win the bout
In order to use Twin Swords you will need both Joy-Con controllers in your hands. The only button required is holding down ZR. Other than that you swing for the victory. The trick to winning is to stay calm and deflect all of your opponent’s attacks.
