Pikmin Bloom – How to collect Petals

Petals are an item you can use for flower planting as you continue your expedition on Pikmin Bloom. To get Petals, you will first need Pikmin and nectar. Nectar is a substance you can use to increase your Pikmin’s maturity.

All Pikmin will begin their life at the leaf stage. Using nectar, you can mature your Pikmin to the Bud stage and, finally, the Flower stage. Once your Pikmin has matured, use the Whistle to call them and give them some nectar again.

The flower icon on your Pikmin’s head will glow, after which you can tap on your Pikmin. They will then give you a single petal based on the type of nectar your feed them. For example, if you give them the base nectar, they will provide you with White Flower petals. If you give them Red Nectar, you will receive Red petals. 

However, do be careful not over to feed your Pikmin with nectar. If you give them too much to make petals, they will revert to the Leaf stage. Giving your Pikmin squad nectar will be the easiest way to get Petals in Pikmin Bloom.

You can also buy various flower petals with coins like White, Yellow, Red, and Blue. If you don’t have any coins, you can purchase them with real money. By planting flowers, you can increase the rate of maturity at which your seedlings grow.
