Rainbow Six Mobile

The Rainbow Six Mobile closed beta is set to go live today, though there’s no official time yet. Chances are that the beta will just drop on our heads without much warning.

Our only official word has been that it will be released on ‘North American Time,’ which means we’re not likely to see the game until most of the US is up and ready to go. With that in mind, we can probably expect them to drop the beta around 12 PM PT/ 3 PM ET/8 PM BST.

We do, however, know what territories the closed beta will be available in. Those territories are:

  • Canada
  • US
  • Mexico
  • Brazil
  • Singapore
  • Philippines
  • India

Just go to this link, and you’ll be able to sign up! Currently, only Android gamers will be eligible for the beta however, since it requires access to the Play Store.

There’s currently no word on when iOS users will be able to play the game. You can sign up for updates on future test phases if you want to have up-to-the-minute updates on the release.

What’s In The Rainbow Six Mobile Closed Beta?

The Rainbow Six Mobile Beta will focus primarily on the Attack vs. Defense mode from the game’s main version. These 5-a-side matches pit you as either the aggressor or defender and you must work with your team to complete whichever objective you’re chasing.

You’ll also be able to access 16 different operators in the Beta, though with 65 now in the console/PC versions, there will probably be more of them down the line.

Although the Beta focuses on Attack vs. Defence, more of the old alpha gameplay modes are also featured, such as ‘Bomb’ and ‘Secure Area.’ There will be new content like free battle passes, daily challenges, and events, so even long-time fans have something to look forward to.

There’s even a brand new map called Clubhouse, so you’re unlikely to get bored with the beta anytime soon. We have no word on an official release date for the game’s final version, but you can be sure that the best way to find out is to stick around WePC.
