How to unlock powers in Starfield

If you want to unlock powers in Starfield, you need to start by discovering a mission called Into the Unknown. This quest automatically starts after completing the Old Neighborhood quest. During the Into the Unknown quest, you will track down a scanner anomaly site.

This scanner anomaly will lead you to the first temple; Temple Eta. Upon entering the temple, you will be floating and need to pass through multiple rings. Do this until they turn into a portal and go through the portal. You will come out with your first power.

After getting your first power, you can continue to find more of them by searching for scanner anomalies across the universe. As you discover these temples, you will unlock more powers and grow stronger.

How to equip powers in Starfield

After unlocking your powers, you will see a new option in your menu. Navigate to your character menu. From there, select the powers option that appears over your character’s head. This will lead you to the powers menu.

Once you are in the powers menu, simply select the power you wish to use. Each power consumes a certain amount of energy so make sure you use them wisely.
