When it comes to the equipment you want to use in your custom loadouts for Warzone 2, you want to ensure you bring the best of the best into Al Mazrah with you. Picking out the meta equipment to use at the moment can spell the difference between winning and losing any fight you come across.

Let’s go over the best equipment to use in Call of Duty’s Warzone 2.

What’s The Best Equipment To Pick For Warzone 2 Ranked?

While you might think that porting over your strongest ranked loadouts to Warzone 2 will be your best fix to have the best equipment possible, you might find that backfires just a bit. You need very different equipment for Warzone 2 compared to Call of Duty’s ranked mode. Here is the equipment you might want to run instead:

Heartbeat Sensor

While the Heartbeat Sensor might not help you get those sniper rifle or battle rifle longshot kills that you are looking for, nothing can help you track down kills easier than it. Most other weapons types can benefit from running the Heartbeat Sensor as it can help you quickly clear buildings and areas. It also helps you easily get a rough idea of where someone is in relation to where you are, you just need to figure out if they are above or below you.

Drill Charge

Nothing is more frustrating than getting to the final zone just to run into someone holding in a building with a riot shield. No matter what weapon you use, be it an assault rifle or an SMG, you won’t be able to easily deal with shiels easily. This is what makes the drill charge such a nice lethal one to use. If you stick it to a riot shield, the user will end up dead no matter what they do. You can also use the drill charge to get someone camping in a corner of a building if needed.

Flash Grenade/Stun Grenade

For anyone looking for a more aggressive playstyle, the flash and stun grenades are going to be your best friend. Being able to put the enemy at a massive disadvantage before a fight can practically assure your win. Rush into a building with any of the SMGs like the Lachmann Sub, Fennec, Vaznev, BAS-P, FSS Hurricane, Vel 46, or the PDSW and you’ll be able to quickly clear out any flashed or stunned enemies.

You can also rush in on a stunned enemy with shotguns like the Lockwood 300, Bryson 890, Expedite 12, and the KV Broadside in order to get some quick cleanups.

Spotter Scope

If you are looking to learn how to snipe or line up some long-range shots, the spotter scope can help with that. Offering a thermal camera to help pick out targets and a rangefinder to tell just how high you need to aim makes it a sniper’s best friend. Take along any of the long-range sniper rifles like the FJX Imperium/Intervention, MCPR-300, Signal 50, or the Victus XMR and start picking off targets before they realize you are there. These snipers have a much easier time hitting one-shots as long as you can account for the slower bullet velocity that they have.

Throwing Knife

You could be using the best weapon in the game, but you still need to use the same amount of shots to finish a downed player. That is unless you use the throwing knife to finish your kills. While many may want to use it to down players, holding onto a throwing knife and using it to quickly finish a downed player will help keep up your mobility during a fight and is quicker than switching to a secondary, like the crossbow, to finish off a kill.

Proximity Mine

If you want to be the bane of all vehicles, then look no further than the proximity mine. Throw down these traps on a main road and wait off to the side with an LMG like the RPK, Rapp H, Raal MG, 556 Icarus, or HCR 56  to spray down anyone that jumps out after the mine. Just make sure you have plenty of ammunition saved up and a couple of round mag attachments of the more assault rifle LMGs.

Snapshot Grenade

While this may sound like an option to pair with some of the best classes and best guns for the multiplayer mode, the Snapshot grenade is perfect for keeping track of enemies that try to run away. Simply pair them with stronger assault rifles like the TAQ-56, Hemlock Iso, STB 556, Lachmann-556, or Kastov-74u to catch players as they run. You can also go for some wall bang shots on highlighted enemies if you run battle rifles like the TAQ-V and FTAC Recon. just make sure you have good recoil control over the battle rifles if you choose to use them instead.

Frag Grenade

Nothing can be the tried and true Modern Warfare classic frag grenade. Simply pull the pin and throw to push enemies out of cover, finish off downed players, and even cause some distracting smoke in a pinch. You can pair it with any weapon type, be it submachine guns or marksman rifles like the TAQ-M. The frag grenade is too versatile an option to not be considered.
