One of the most prominent features of Warzone 2, outside of the Gulag, is the buy stations. These little boxes allow you to buy weapons, armor, and even allies with the money you have earned throughout the game. Being able to fully restock your loadout is key to winning any Warzone 2 game.

Before you can spend all of your cash, you need to know what to look out for and how to find a buy station in the game. Being able to pick them out on the map and route yourself toward one is much better than just hoping you happen to stumble across one on your way to the zone. Let’s go over how you find buy stations and how to use them.

What Are Warzone Buy Stations?

The Warzone Buy Stations, situated in designated areas of the Al Mazrah map, function as shops where players can purchase items that may enhance their performance in the game.

Utilizing these stations can potentially provide an upper hand against opponents, particularly in the initial and middle phases of a battle royale match.

How To Find Warzone 2 Buy Stations

Much like the UAV Towers, buy stations can be a bit random on where they spawn. Unless you want to memorize where every single buy station location could be, your best bet for finding one is going to be by using the map.

Simply open your map at any point during a game, and look for the little shopping cart icon around POIs. The buy stations tend to be around the bigger areas so players are drawn to them and cause fights. Once you find a buy station on the map, select it to place a marker on your HUD so you won’t lose sight of it. Then you can rush to the buy station at whatever pace you desire.

Do be a bit careful as you approach a buy station as many players tend to camp them looking for some easy kills and squad wipes. You’ll also want to keep a listen out for any other players while you are using the buy station since other teams might roll up to it while you are there.

Warzone 2 Buy Station Items

In Warzone 2, players have access to various items that can be purchased at buy stations. However, it can be challenging to manage the prices of the items you and your team want to buy. The cost of an item is directly related to its usefulness. But, the game provides plenty of cash scattered throughout the map in the form of crates, cash registers, and shelves.

Once you have enough cash, you can buy the items that you think can help you win the game. However, keep in mind that some items have limited availability at each buy station. Some items will always be available to buy, while others may be bought only once or twice before becoming unavailable or respawning.

Additionally, different buy stations will have different gear items available for purchase. For example, one buy station might have semtex grenades, while another one might not. However, the weapons selection remains the same at every buy station.

Loadout Drop Grenades

Loadout Drop Grenades have returned to Warzone 2 buy stations, allowing players to purchase customizable loadout drops directly. Initially, they were priced steeply, but Warzone made some changes that have made them more affordable since the launch of Season 2. Prices for Loadout Drops are as follows in each game mode:

  • Battle Royale Solos: $8,000
  • Battle Royale Duos: $12,000 ($6,000 per player)
  • Battle Royale Trios: $16,000 ($5,300 per player)
  • Battle Royale Quads: $20,000 ($5,000 per player)

Loadout Drop Grenades are available in the Gear section of the buy stations and have unlimited availability. Though the prices are still expensive, they were even worse prior to the Season 2 update when the quad price was as high as $32,000.

Primary Weapons

When players want to purchase any of their primary loadout weapons from the buy station in Warzone 2, all of them will now have a price tag of $2,500. This is a significant reduction from the original cost of $5,000 for each primary loadout weapon.

The lowered price, which went into effect on December 19th, is expected to make many fans happy.

Additionally, players can choose from a variety of customized versions of primary weapons available for purchase from the buy station:

  1. M4 – Assault Rifle
  2. TAQ-56 – Assault Rifle
  3. Chimera – Assault Rifle

How To Use A Buy Station In Warzone 2

Using a buy station is quite simple, just walk up and interact with it to pull up the buy menu. From there you can buy all sorts of items from killstreaks to armor plates. The big reason many players will visit a buy station is to buy their teammates back into the game.

Doing so will cost you $4,000 per teammate you want to buy back. Once you press the buy-back option, the station will launch a flare into the air to alert any nearby enemies to your location. So be ready for a bit of a fight while you are getting your squadmates back. You can also do the reverse and wait nearby a buy station for someone else to buy their teammates back and collapse on them.

There are other items that full squads will want to use the buy station for, most importantly, the ability to buy a custom loadout. This is the only way to get some guns in Warzone 2 and it is key to winning a match. You can also stock up on armor plates and other consumables at a buy station if you are running low.

Warzone 2 Buy Station Locations FAQs

Do Buy Stations close in the gas Warzone 2?

Unfortunately, if players are hoping to make a gas play in the final circles, you will not be able to do so. Players can no longer use buy stations in the gas in Warzone 2.

Are Warzone 2 buy stations random?

In Warzone 2, buy stations are generated randomly, and a user recently shared an image showing four of them located in close proximity to each other. While the random spawning of buy stations promotes gameplay diversity by encouraging players to explore different areas of the map, in this particular case, it has resulted in traffic congestion and unnecessary delays.
