What is the Max Level In MW2? While many fans are worried that their rank might suddenly reset for season 3 of MW2, others are starting to wonder what the new max level will be. It seems with every new season of MW2, the max level cap is extended even further to allow players to show off just how much they grinded for their camos and operator skins. But what the max level will be in season 3 is anyone’s guess, it seems that they just pick a random amount of levels to add and throw them in. Let’s go over the new max level you can reach in season 3 of MW2.

What is the max level in MW2 right now?

The max level is currently at 650 in MW2. While the previous level cap for season 2 was at 450, we will now have an extra 200 levels to grow to reach the season 3 level cap. This information comes courtesy of the official Call of Duty Twitter. Sadly, there still doesn’t seem to be a reward for grinding your level to the max outside of what you would already have gotten from the battle pass.

While 200 levels might seem like a lot, it really isn’t when you factor in all the double XP boosts that players will be getting from the battle pass. It will be an ever shorter grind for anyone that plays DMZ and Warzone as those modes offer a lot of XP. While this does help shorten the grind to max out the battle pass, it makes the level grind feel almost non-existent. Many players will find themselves at level 650 before they even know it.

It is also really easy to not notice your level-ups since you don’t receive any rewards from them anymore. There is a new trophy system similar to the keys from Modern Warfare 2019, but that seems to be linked to the battle pass instead of prestige and levels. Maybe at some point in the future, there will be rewards added into the game for reaching max level and max prestige but it doesn’t seem like we will see any during season 3.

What is the new max Prestige Rank in MW2?

Season 2 raised the level cap to 450, with the season roadmap initially indicating a cap of 500. However, 50 levels were removed without notice. Additional levels and Prestige Ranks will be introduced in the upcoming season, with plans to add more each season. Previously, Prestige 5 was the highest level players could reach at Level 250.
