Tulin is a member of the Rito tribe first appearing in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. As a youngling in the first game, he is found in Rito Village and sets up a minigame for Link to shoot arrows. He showed up in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity as well but what about The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom? If you’re curious about whether the flighty fighter will be in the sequel, here’s all you need to know.

Is Tulin in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom?

Yes, Tulin is in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The game is set years after The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild so Tulin is all grown up now. Nintendo revealed he is in the game by posting a picture of the Rito decked out in leather armor and wielding a bow like the champion Revali. He also appeared in the third trailer for the game, albeit briefly, where he is seen flying alongside Link diving into action as the two confront Ganon’s forces.

Who is Tulin in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom?

Tulin is the son of Rito members Saki and Teba. He is a warrior who is following Revali’s path to becoming just as good of an archer as the champion. When first met in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Tulin is young and not yet a fighter, though he does assist Link in playing a game of shooting targets in the sky. Throughout the years between the two games, Tulin has grown to become a warrior in his own right.

In the sequel, Tulin is older and fights with Link in the battle against Ganon. His training has made him a capable fighter and he’s mastered control over the winds. He’ll act as the champions in the previous game did by helping Link during his journey by providing him with currents of wind or protecting him in a fight.
