World of Warcraft’s 17th Anniversary is now live across the world, offering players the chance to celebrate the game’s 17th birthday. There’s plenty of features activated that allows you ways to celebrate the game. One of those is the return of Korrak’s Revenge, a modified Alterac Valley based on pre 1.12 patch version of the infamous 40v40 battleground.

Soldier of Time WoW quest

To start Korrak’s Revenge, you will need to get the quest, Soldier of Time, from the WoW anniversary quest chains. When you log in, you can get one of those quest pop-ups on the right side of the screen. You will get a message from Chromie, telling you about events going on in the Caverns of Time. If you’re interested in the Korrak’s Revenge event, you can head over to the Caverns of Time and grab the Soldiers of TIme WoW quest.

Once when you have the quest, you will need to earn 500 honor from the Korrak’s Revenge time walking PvP event. Upon completion, it awards you 5 Marks of Honor, one of the PvP currencies that allows you to buy PvP related transmogs from the season gone by, along with 600 Timewarped badges you can spend in time walking events. The time walking Legion event launches in December, which means you can grab yourself Legion themed time walking content, such as the usual expansion themed mount or pet from the time walking content.

One of the reasons you’ll want to do this quest and complete the Korrak’s Revenge challenge is for two unique mounts. When you complete the Alterac Valley of Olde achievement, you will earn yourself the Stromp[ike Battle Ram for Alliance players, or Frostwolff Snarler for the Horde.

If you have already partaken in the Korrak’s Revenge event in the last two World of Warcraft anniversary events,  then you‘ll more than likely already own these mounts. If that is the case, you can complete the Soldier of Time quest for funsies so you can accumulate even more Timewalking badges.  You can read more about the WoW 17th Anniversary here.
