So, in WWE 2K23, can you re-acquire the VC and Cards that you already have? Unfortunately, the answer is no, you will not.
This means the VC that you still have and the wrestlers you’ve already collected can only be used in the previous game title, WWE 2K22.
Whilst this is very irritating for those who’ve put in the man hours on the previous game, it’s nothing new. All previous WWE games, and almost all 2K sports instalments to that measure, have never implemented this. Microtransactions are a large portion of capital, unfortunately.

In lighter news, based on a 2K Support article, however, their team mentions that the “VC in your wallet is shareable cross-gen in the same console family.”
What this means at the very least is that you can use the in-game currency from one console generation to another.
If you upgrade within the same branch of systems, your VC and cards will not go to waste.
