With the RTX 4000 series launch underway, slowly new graphics cards are launching. So now is the time for the unlaunched 4080 12GB. So can you pre order the RTX 4070 Ti?

The 4070 Ti release date is set for January 5th. So you can expect to hear more on the card on launch or maybe a day before. So it’s probably best to see how well it performs and take the announced performance with a grain of salt.

Now for what you will be paying, the RTX 3070 Ti price is recommended at $799. But that would be for the basic or Founder’s Edition models. So you can expect much higher pricing for all the other choices.

The card is coming in with in fact a lower SKU than the 4080 and so it is no surprise it is coming in under its own name. So its a good time to see how it performs.

Can you pre order the RTX 4070 Ti?

The fact is, you can’t pre order the RTX 4070 Ti. Now for plenty of years, it has not been a feature of hardware releases.

This means you have to be on the ball if you want to buy a new desirable GPU. With a likely release time you want to be on top of it to be sure to get stock of the card.

Pre ordering graphics cards has become very uncommon on release. This is likely to combat scalping or help with the stock of cards.

As for everyone trying to get their hands on them, it has been a struggle to get them and so pre ordering has gone out the window. Except maybe further down the line when retailers are getting stock in soon.

So it is unlikely that this new card will be up for grabs beforehand. If you are aiming to buy one then you want to keep your eyes peeled on when the card launches to then be able to buy it.
