AMD RX 7600 XT specs confirmed

AMD is looking to expand its lineup, so what does the new GPU have to offer?

Looking to deck out your PC with a new graphics card, AMD has you covered with a new option. As the rumors and leaks came out, we finally looked at what the AMD RX 7600 XT specs have to offer. The launch is upon us, so you can already check out where to buy the RX 7600 XT while you’re here.

The RX 7600 XT release date is on the 24th of January, which provides us with quite a busy schedule throughout the beginning of the year. The joy of hosting CES at the start gave us exciting tech but with no time in between all of them. But for the AMD GPU, there is a lot of hope for becoming the best GPU for some people looking for an entry-level card. In that case, we see what the specifications have to offer.

RX 7600 XT specs

Now the RX 7600 didn’t quite meet expectations. With a limited PCIe bus, memory capacity, and bandwidth did limit its full potential. But that’s where seemingly the XT wants to improve upon.

However, looking at the official RX 7600 XT specs, it doesn’t seem as though it is improving over the non-XT card as much as we expected. All it offers is double the VRAM, but at the same speed and bus, so more like the 4060 Ti 8GB vs 16GB option. Plus to do so requires a bit more power and money over the card. Although not as huge a monetary leap as Team Green. We’ll have to see what the benchmarks say as to what you get for it and if the value makes it the best.

Keeping the rest of the specs the same does mean it is unlikely to be a huge difference, even if the 16GB memory capacity does provide a good capacity. Although it may be limited by the bus and clock and doesn’t provide the bandwidth it might need.
