Yesterday, Forza Horizon 5 launched an exciting update on all platforms, which has fixed some of the persisting issues within the game. Forza Horizon 5 was one of the most anticipated games last year and exceeded expectations for the fans and the gaming community. 

This new update does not essentially bring anything new to the game per se. However, the developers have posted more details about the Series 4 update, coming soon into the game. Let’s have a deeper look at this latest update from its patch notes. 

What’s new in the Forza Horizon Feb 1 update? 

The new update has a long list of changes that aim to improve the user experience for the players. The patch notes read that issues with multiplayer gameplay, wheel compatibility, exploits, and event labs have been fixed in this game. For example, Microsoft has fixed an issue that would previously prevent friends from appearing in the Online Player list. 

As for wheel compatibility, Microsoft has fixed several issues, including missing rumble on Wheel input devices on PC, and has added wheel mapping for Hori Force Feedback Wheel. 

Furthermore, there are some much-needed improvements and fixes to the cars and accolades. There are some crucial fixes to vehicles such as Zenvo ST1, Toyota Arctic Cruiser, Toyota Celica, Lamborghini Espada, and many other cars.

The best highlights of the patch notes that will help uphold the ultimate gaming experience would be the following ones. 

  • Improved the distance texture quality when running the Ultra quality setting on PC
  • Improved the foliage quality when running the Ultra quality setting on PC
  • Added new engine audio for the Pagani Zonda Cinque
  • Players will no longer be announced as the winner after quitting and losing to the selected rival
