The graphics card that was launched in China with no international supply has in fact shown up in other countries. Only featuring in prebuilt systems so far, it still is a way for more users to enjoy the new GPU that expands on the gap that RDNA 3 has made in its release lineup.

Released at the ChinaJoy 2023 exhibit, the RX 7900 GRE brings a slightly cut-down version of the top die of the architecture by featuring the Navi 31XL. With specs just behind the 7900 XT, it does offer up plenty of performance and now for a much lower price as it comes with an MSRP of $649. Well now it has been spotted across other countries but so far only in prebuilt systems.

German and Australian RX 7900 GRE system integrators

As Videocardz reports, there have been two retailers spotted that offer the new Radeon graphics card, one in Germany and the other in Australia. That does show a lot more availability than expected initially for the GPU although we’re not sure if it will ever end up in retailers or just OEMs.

The German integrator that brings the RDNA 3 card to Europe is Memory PC. Boasting that it is the exclusive retailer supplied by XFX it now has four different prebuilt PCs featuring the graphics card. Ranging in price from €1,149 to €1,749 it isn’t the most expensive setup in general and speaks to the value provided by the 7900 GRE. Although they range in what generation the processor is at with both AM 4 and 5 available for the systems.

PLE Computers is the Australian system integrator that offers up the RX 7900 GRE as well. Also featuring the XFX model, the card costs 100 AUD extra than the base RTX 4070 but 200 AUD less than the base 4070 Ti. That gives us a good look at what pricing we should expect from the card if it ever comes to shops. Even then the supply will be limited to XFX, Sapphire, and AMD’s own board as those are the only ones so far to make the GPU.
