During Apple’s WWDC 2023 event, Apple announced the new Macbook Air, the world’s thinnest 15-inch laptop.
Powered by the M2 chip, this MacBook Air provides 18 hours of battery life, and a 15-inch liquid retina display with over 500 nits of brightness, all whilst being 11.5mm thick. bringing productivity to a new level of thin.

MacBook Air performance
This new MacBook Air isn’t just impressively thin, it’s impressively powerful too. This ultra-thin laptop boasts 12x the performance of the fastest Intel-based MacBook Air with the before-mentioned 18 hours of battery life. When compared to the best-selling 15-inch PC laptop, the MacBook Air came out on top, boasting 2x the performance.
When it comes to design, however, the Air is 40% thinner and around half a pound lighter, talk about big things coming in small packages.
Design
The MacBook Air 15 is completely fanless, using its metal casing to help dissipate the heat it generates when serving its user seamlessly, the MacBook Air is the only 15-inch laptop that truly has it all. All the while coming in at a feather-light 3.3 pounds.
not to mention the inclusion of MagSafe charging, thunderbolt 4, and up to 2TB of storage.
