With the newest CS2 limited test parameters, it has allowed an influx of basically anyone with an active competitive rank to join in the fun before the game officially launches. This has obviously brought on new groups of people trying to break and exploit the game in new ways to gain an advantage on the field. That’s how players were seen breaking the sound barrier with a new bhop strat in CS2.

We hope to see the speed demons persist through to the official release of CS2.

The new bhop strategy in CS2 sees players move extremely fast

The act of bunny hopping (bhop) is nothing new and has been around since the start of CS:GO. All it involves is a frame-perfect jump just as you touch the ground which allows you to keep the momentum of the jump going. This results in a speed boost.

It’s pretty hard to pull off, but if you get good at it, there’s no time limit on the small speed boost you have.

If only there was a way to get a massive speed boost at the start, so we could maintain that momentum instead …

This fantastic video from ESL Counter-Strike’s Twitter shows players using a jump boost to gain insane momentum, then bhop around Nuke like they have no-clip enabled.

It truly is a sight to behold, especially since this strat is new, It’d be terrifying to see an AWP-wielding T fly around the corner at Mach-1 three seconds into the match. The implications this new strategy has for matches are massive.

However, it is very likely that this will be patched, as it will likely be seen as too much of an unfair advantage, especially to those who do not know how to do it.

In the meantime, however, it is important that we all enjoy this humorous play, as it will go down in the Counter-Strike history books as one of the funniest things I have ever seen.
