Conan Exiles is getting a battle pass with plenty of thematic content relating to the free expansion update when the Age of Sorcery arrives. The battle pass works like a typical battle pass, with free levels, regular levels and a premium upgrade that last for 90 days before a new battle pass launches. Here is everything we know about the Conan Exiles Battle Pass system.
What we know about the Conan Exiles Battle Pass
Players will get new challenges every day, and they refresh when they are completed. Challenges grant battle pass experience and levels that will allow you to work your way through the 60 battle pass levels. There are XP modifiers, too, for the challenges, allowing you to catch up and do challengers to prevent falling behind. You may also reroll challenges if you find one you are not particularly happy with. Lastly, the battle pass challenges are based on players completing two challenges a day on one hour spent on the game that day.
There are 60 rewards at present, with the premium battle pass granting 15 levels immediately. Also, you can pay to skip the battle pass in five and ten-level increments via the new chrome coins feature. The battle pass tends to feature a variety of cosmetic items for a variety of Conan Exile features. The first battle pass has some skins for tamed animals, new building styles, some in-game store currency items and more. You can also get Crom Coins, which will eventually accumulate to a full battel pass worth of value, meaning you can keep buying future battle passes based on the Crom coins you earn through each pass.
It is worth mentioning that Funcom expects the most casual player to complete the full pass. Funcom designed the challenges to have a player complete two within one hour of playtime each day. And, if you miss a day, the challenges get bonus rates exp to catch up on the days you missed up to a cap. So, there is some lenience if you find you cannot play for a few days at a time.
Moreso, anything you unlock in the battle pass is permanently unlocked for all characters. The only exception is the single-use items, but those can be redeemed on every character you make once per character. So rest assured those items are technically permanent unlocks on your account despite their single-use status.
We also know that the battle passes are themed around the thematic of the content expansion, otherwise known as ages. For example. The Age of Sorcery will feature a battle pass themed around sorcery. Expect magical items or other magical-themed skins and building pieces to match the evil sorcery lore found in the original lore of the Conan franchise.
