Counter-Strike 2 is already a game that players go to in order to relax after school or work or on the weekends since those are their days off. A lot like Overwatch, Fortnite, and Call of Duty, it brings its players a battle royale experience where people can play multiple matches in one sitting, getting up and feeling accomplished with their productivity in the game as they rank up.

However, even with fans loving the game, they have ideas and suggestions about what they “dream” will take it to the very next level. The first game, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, didn’t have this feature, but players hope it could be brought to CS2.

A lot of battle royale games place players in random matches with other random players, not from any certain region, while some games might have a different process, Counter-Strike 2 does not, and this is something players would like to see changed.

CS2 players want separate servers

Players have brought up the idea on Reddit that they want to have separate servers for different regions, displaying an image of other games that have this setup option. The images show a menu of different regions and allow players to select each one they desire to be a part of.

The user who posted the Reddit images asked players, “What if we had this in CS2?” The immediate first comment says, “A man can dream.” It is no lie that having a feature like this would be neat, not only allowing players to have their own space with others in their country but would also even out some of the really sweaty players from the others, giving each country a fighting chance in the game.

One player did point out in the comments that there are some possible servers players will face with having separate servers for each country – that some players will jump from server to server with ones that are far away from them. Their example is that some players might hear one server has more competitive players than another and bring a ton of ping over because of the distance being played.

For now, the developers haven’t suggested or hinted at any possibility of anything like this feature coming to the game, but there is a possibility that we could see it later since the fans are excited just talking about it.
