Fans have been clamouring for a new Dragon Ball Xenoverse game for quite a long time. Sadly, if a Dragon Ball insider is to believed, it’ll take a lot longer for the game to actually come.

Where is Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3?

A known Dragon Ball insider had the following to say about the potential for the game:

I said 2023 anime 2024 XV3 (Xenoverse 3). Plans could change but oh well lol.”

If this is the case then it’ll make the wait even tougher for players. The original Dragon Ball Xenoverse released back in February 2015 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC. The sequel released a mere year later in 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. If it truly takes until 2024 for the game to release then that means it’ll have been a full eight years since the last game in the series. Although, as we’re about to get into, there’s been a hell of a lot of Dragon Ball games.

What Other Dragon Ball Games Have Released?

Since the release of the original Dragon Ball Xenoverse we’ve had Dragon Ball FighterZ, Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot and Dragon Ball: The Breakers. The series hasn’t really took a break, so it’s understandable that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 would take so long to develop, announce then release. We’ll keep you updated with any information on a potential announcement for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3, since if it’s due to release in 2024 it’ll likely be announced next year.
