Escape From Tarkov just received a new update that addresses some common bugs and gun animations. Last year in partnership with NVIDIA, developer Battlestate brought NVIDIA Reflex to Escape From Tarkov greatly. The devs just announced that players can level up their Escape From Tarkov experience with the AI-powered performance boost of NVIDIA DLSS. But it is not available with the latest update just yet and it is scheduled to come to the game very shortly.

What’s New in The Escape From Tarkov Update?

Escape From Tarkov 0.12.12.15.16584 addresses some bugged interactions and animations in the game. The update has fixed several animations while interacting with weapons which include the Saiga 12-k, Kel Tec, TT-33, and more. Players should no longer have issues with trigger behaviour after updating the game.

Here are the important fixes from the new update:

  • Fixed incorrect grenade explosion sound when throwing it from indoors to outdoors
  • Tactical fleece beanie no longer cancels the deafening effect from Tagilla’s welding masks
  • Fixed an issue of not being able to cancel loading into an offline raid when loading a map
  • Fixed incorrect display of Shturman’s wound traces

There is no official word on when the NVIDIA DLSS update will be out. But now that it has been annoyed for an early 2022 launch, fans can expect significant performance improvements. To check out the full patch notes of the current update, click here.
