Escape From Tarkov just received a new update that hotfixes a number of persistent bugs and also introduces some quality of life mechanics. When trying to transfer a non-empty container, players will receive a notification saying “You can’t hand over a container with items inside.” This change will prevent players from losing items accidentally.

What to Expect From Escape From Tarkov’s New Update?

The new update does not introduce any new content. However, it does address a number of issues and has some AI tweaks as well. The game has also changed the conditions under which Scav bots took a prone position when engaging a player. The SCAR-L has new sounds to set itself apart from the SCAR-H. Both guns had the same sound profile and it was almost impossible to discern the audio between the two weapons, which led to a lot of confusion in gunfights.
