There has been a huge announcement regarding CS2 recently, Valve has posted an extensive list of updates on its CS2 news page. The update that has grabbed the attention of the fans is that you are now able to refund bought weapons in CS2. Here’s why Fans are elated at the new refund feature in CS2.
Wrong purchase? No problem! You can now refund weapons in CS2
It’s happened to the best of us, oops, we got a Galil AR instead of the M4, guess we’re stuck now. Well, not in CS2 we’re not, as we can now refund any purchase we made during the buy period.
Buying the wrong weapon and getting 0 frags with it can be really detrimental to the team, and can even cause you to lose a round, which can have a knock-on effect causing a downward spiral.
With the buy menu now allowing refunds, we can no longer use the wrong gun excuse.
Valve released some updates regarding the CS2 beta in a recent news post, Valve stated the following:
Many of the fans, including us, are absolutely ecstatic at the fact we can now refund misclicks in the buy menu. Couple this with the new and refurbished buy menu has us losing our minds over this revolutionary change in CS2.
We even saw some input from legends in the Counter-Strike scene, Anomaly weighed in on the Twitter post made by Valve advertising the new refund feature:
The feedback from the community on Twitter was overwhelmingly positive, showing just how desired this feature has been for a long time.
There has been a truckload of updates announced for the CS2 beta, and as we roll closer to summer, anticipation for a release grows.
Autumn officially starts on September 23rd in the UK, and since it has been announced that CS2 will release in the summer, we know it’ll be before September unless delayed. This was why fans were elated at the new refund feature in CS2
