13th August Update: The FIFA 22 beta has now launched, with EA sending out the first batch of FIFA 22 beta codes, the actual beta will launch today, 13th August 2021.
The excitement for FIFA 22 is building and now leaked news of the closed beta release date started on the 11th August 2021 means fans around the world are going to be in frenzy mode trying to snatch a place in the closed beta. Unfortunately, the only way of getting a FIFA 22 beta code is to simply sign up for a possible invite.
The FIFA 22 beta will begin on the 25th of August 2021, the first of two batches of beta keys will be sent out tomorrow on the 11th August 2021.
The FIFA 22 closed beta will begin tomorrow, 11th August 2021, and will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox S, and Xbox X. To be selected, you need to have opted in for EA emails. To increase your chances of receiving a FIFA 22 beta invite you to need to have opted in to receive both FIFA and EA emails. To do this, simply go to this page and select the first box which says ‘EA may email me about EA news, products, events and promotions.’
Rumour has it that EA chooses players based on the most active FIFA players, this could be based on gameplay time or their skill level, achievements unlocked. Another important factor could be the region you are from, for example, the FIFA 21 beta was not available for players in Asian and African continents and focused only on regions including the US, UK, and Germany.

Of course, fulfilling all of these requirements does not mean you will be chosen but it will give you a chance.

Note: please pay attention to your spam inbox, just in case the beta codes are put directly into your spam box. You can also add the EA address as a safe sender to ensure it does not land in your spam box. Simply add [email protected] as a safe sender to guarantee any invitation code is sent directly to your inbox.
Unfortunately not, EA has not announced a closed beta for PC or Nintendo Switch platforms. It will not be available on mobile platforms either.
